Volunteer for the 69th Annual Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show
February 15-25, 2024 @ WestWorld in North Scottsdale, AZ
It’s time to start preparing for the 69th Annual Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show! We are anticipating a spectacular show; excited for over 300 vendors to be in the North Hall, and spectators from around the world! This year, each volunteer will also need to provide a signed volunteer waiver, this will need to be signed prior to the start of your shift, please make sure to bring with you when you sign-in. We value your contribution to the horse show so much that we are always trying to find ways to say thanks! For 2024 some of the special perks include opportunities to win prizes; for every session you work, your name is put into the drawing….the more you volunteer, the more chances you have to win! In addition to all of the awards, credentials for free admission to all of the performances are given to each volunteer; these credentials will get you into the show each and every day, so when you are not volunteering, feel free to hang out and watch the show. Please consider the list carefully and give as much time as you can.
Volunteer Positions: Awards Presenter, Bridge Traffic Control, Dressage Arena Assistance, Floaters (to fill in where needed),Hunter Jumper Arena Assistant, Information Booth, Meet-A-Horse, Out Gate Assistance, Program Sales, Sport Horse Arena Assistance, Working Western Division Assistant, and Youth Activities.
This is the same format as last year; you will go to this link: select the tab for the day you are available and scroll through the positions, so you know what is available. If you are signing up for one of our charities (Horses Help, Healing Hearts, Scottsdale Community College, March of Dimes, JDRF or school community service hour’s credit) please put the name of the organization in the comments tab to receive credit. This is the only way we can track the charities hours. If the name of the charity is not in the comments section, the charity will not receive credit. In addition, if you cancel your shift please contact the charity. The charities receive grant money based on the amount of shifts they complete at the show. If you are interested in the Awards Presenter or Information booth or have any other questions, please contact Tanya for additional information at volunteer@scottsdaleshow.com
