Cathy Vecsey

Cathy has been involved with Arabian horses since 1979 and has been competing at the National level since 1984.  She and her husband, Russ, moved from Connecticut to Arizona in 2017 with 2 dogs, 2 cats, and 10horses.  Although Cathy competes as an amateur, she is the trainer as well to all of the family-owned horses here in Arizona under the farm name of Hawk Haven Farms. Currently, 5 horses are in training, 4 are living a life of leisure, and 1 is in Louisiana.  Hawk Haven horses have won in excess of55 National and Reserve National titles and over 100 additional National Top Tens. Cathy also serves on the Board of Directors for APAHA and the Arabian Horse Foundation in addition to various other AHA and local committees as well as being a National/Regional judge having judged both National and international horse shows.
